The latest research into the future labour market* indicates that future roles will require a minimum of a Level 4 qualification. A Level 4 qualification is equivalent to the first year of a degree or a HNC. That’s because a ‘higher education’ level (which starts at Level 4) you learn those higher order skills such as critical thinking, evaluation and analysis. Adam Fidler’s been stating this for years - but now that AI is upon us, it’s even more important that EAs and PAs uplift their educational repertoire to have the confidence to demonstrate those new skills.
